Did you know that pet beds tend to be small? I don't know about you, but I always end up taking a size larger than recommended or I get a bed that my dog hangs on a good leg when he lies down. So I went for an XXL… oh my god that thing is huge! Both my dog and his brothers that each of my sisters have fit on this thing, albeit narrowly. So be sure to get the recommended size with this one! Now I don't mind that it's big, but I don't mind that the cushions for the three sides are too small to fit in a larger bed. I've tried all sorts of ways to get her in there and it still looks like a big lumpy flatbed! Based on the photos of the smaller beds here, it doesn't look like they have the same issue. So it might just be a problem with the largest size. Also, both the upholstery and the foam base are very thin and feel very cheap. The fabric on the outside is slightly better. Although it won't resist even a hardcore chew dog. Overall, I give it 3 stars because of the quality issues. I just feel like the quality of the inserts should be a lot better at this price point.
