Review on 🔒 Bully LH-003WD Rear Trunk Tailgate Lock Door Handle: OE Factory Replacement for 1999-2006 GM Trucks by Aaron Fowler

This is my second lock that I have bought from this company. The first was a few years ago for my '05 Chevy Silverado and the other this year for my '06 GMC Sierra. The price is good and it absolutely locks my back door. My problem is that the covers popped out on both the Chevy 05 and GMC 06 when I closed the tailgate, I didn't slam the tailgate shut. Luckily I've been there both times and didn't hit a pothole in the road so I didn't lose it. The lid's "teeth" are not deep enough or strong enough to hold it in place. I fixed this by gently heating two teeth with a heat gun until the plastic was soft enough to push out a bit harder. Then I added silicone glue to the top and bottom teeth and put it back on. This only takes 5 minutes. Never had a problem after that. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
