My son wears a size 7. His measurements are 24" bust, 13" shoulder, 15" sleeve, 18" inseam, 25" outseam, 21.5" waist, 24.5" hip and he weighs 52 pounds . I ordered a size 7 and it fits as expected. The pants are loose in the waist (as expected) because he usually wears a skinny fit, but as they are a bit loose this can easily be fixed with a belt. I have so many good things to say about this tuxedo, but my only negative comment is the lack of a size chart for this tuxedo. I know from experience that the Revain sizing chart doesn't help much with clothing made in China, and it frustrates me to feel like you basically have to guess when sizing. I was pleasantly surprised that at least a size 7 is a size 7 for a US boy. However, the seller was really able to help the buyers by listing the measurements for each size so we could feel more confident in our decision. what size to order. Before going into the details of this tuxedo, I would first like to say that it is really very good for the price. You can never please everyone, but I sincerely think that anyone complaining about the quality of this tuxedo has unrealistic expectations. For the price, this tuxedo is way better than I expected. So if you don't care about the details and you're just looking for a short version of my review - just buy it. This tuxedo is a great value if you are looking for a one-off or regular suit. This is the third tuxedo I've ordered from Revain and as soon as I opened the package I knew I had finally found the one I was looking for and immediately sent the other two back. Seriously I'm so happy with this purchase and I can't believe how nice it is for the small amount I paid. Now for the details. COAT: The coat is fully lined (even the sleeves) so it hangs well and looks great. It has satin on the lapels and top pocket, and although it's made of polyester, the fabric feels nice to the touch. The coat even has fabric covered buttons which is a nice touch and this suit is the only one of the three I've ordered with this added detail. It might seem like a small thing, but it really improves the overall picture in terms of quality. The slit at the back is secured with thread and this stitching should be removed before dressing. But it's another small touch that shows attention to detail and quality that you'd never expect at this price point. The pockets are also sewn in and you may or may not remove these stitching depending on your individual needs or preferences. If you want to add a pocket square or use the bottom pockets, you can remove the stitching. Personally I plan to keep them as we don't need them and I think the coat looks better with flat pockets. - WAISTCOAT: The front of the waistcoat is made of the same satin as the lapels of the coat, while the back is made of the typical thin shiny fabric used for the back of the waistcoat. The buttons on the vest are the same as on the coat. The only thing I would like to see on this vest is a adjuster on the back, but for the price I can't really complain about the lack. - TROUSERS: The trousers are in the same fabric as the jacket, with a shiny stripe down the sides of each leg that matches the satin of the coat and waistcoat. They have a flat front with no visible elastic at the waist. However, the back of the belt has elastic, making it suitable for a variety of waist sizes. It fits my son loosely with a 21.5" waist and stretches to around 26-27". The fabric is a comfortable weight for pants. It's heavy enough for pants to hang snugly, but not so heavy that it gets too hot. There are two spacious front pockets and no back pockets. - SHIRT: The shirt is made from a cotton/poly blend that is so thin you may need an undershirt if your little man plans to take his coat off. Of course, this depends on personal preferences. It's not sheer, but like a regular white men's shirt, an undershirt produces a more opaque white. The shirt has nice pleats in the front and is long enough to be tucked in when worn. - TIE: A bow tie is a ready-made bow (no tying required) sewn to an adjustable neck strap. It fits right in the middle of my son so it runs a lot smaller or a lot bigger than we need. In other words, it fits in an artery the size of your neck. It's made from the same soft satin as the rest of the tuxedo. All in all, you can't go wrong with this tuxedo. This is excellent value for money. I am very happy with this purchase. (Never mind my son wears sneakers lol. They were straight out of the box and I hadn't even steamed them to get the wrinkles out when I took the photos. BTW they steamed perfectly and I also recommend steaming do not iron, as this type of fabric can take on an ugly sheen if ironed at too high a temperature.)**Note.
