This printer is fantastic! Out of the box and it prints fantastic, it prints so well I bought another. Auto leveling works very well. Assembly was easy, but a beginner might want to check out the assembly video on Youtube. Make sure you level the Z height on both sides of the printer before you start printing. This is very important for your first prints and gives much better table leveling results with excellent print quality. To update! and notices for future purchasers of this product. I bought 2 of these printers and they have worked flawlessly since the day I bought them and I spilled 2kg of PLA through these devices and all I can say is "Wow!". It's better than any Creality printer out of the box. No paid rating, but a verified purchase! Activities for a great first experience. Step 1. Assembling the printer. Follow the assembly instructions on SDCard or Youtube.! VERY IMPORTANT ! After assembling the printer, make sure the X-axis crossbar is aligned on both sides. This alignment is critical to successful prints. Step 2 Heat up the platform (should be easy to get out of the menu). Get that 1st layer right. Step 3 Auto bed leveling (select Auto leveling from the menu) In this menu you will see that Axis Home selects this and then auto leveling. (Yes, the nozzle touches the bed, don't panic!) (If you're afraid of scratching the glass surface, cut a strip of paper and place it under your head at each spot where it grabs and touches the surface.) sure you don't touch the platform, while the printer is checking the platform, it will give wrong readings and you will have to do the alignment again, let the head touch the platform, it won't hurt Print menu and select the Z-Offset + button and set the value to +4, this should give you a safe margin to set the offset values correctly when you start printing, filament will be ejected as the nozzle grinds along your press the + button step by step until you see the filament lays down in an even, flat pattern on the glass but does not break or blister..
