At first I thought they were too tight but I put them back on and went out and found they weren't. The material is actually forgiving, but the insole is strong, so I can tighten the shoe without restricting the foot's natural splay as you move. I really like her! I run about three miles a day on tarmac and they absorb shock well and land securely. I also run in hilly terrain and they don't slip - in the shoe or on the sole so that they have good grip. In the gym they are better than my NB shoes because they have a low profile so I can balance and jump with a good foundation. Not too flimsy, but not too flimsy either. Yes, I would recommend her. Weirdly, I want them in hot pink, fuchsia, or bright blue to match my girly jogging shirts. Green slime would be cool. I would also wear it with streetwear. Oh! I love the toe protection, it keeps my feet dry when I have to walk on a wet lawn.
