My house has settled down a bit and after adjusting everything to make the door fit properly and eliminate the gaps where air was coming in and out, I had it I still have an uneven gap at the bottom of my door. The specific threshold on my door no longer has a suitable insert. When my door was closed at night, the light under my door was clearly visible, highlighting the wrong gap. I removed the old mist eliminator that was wrapped under the door and didn't fit inside or out, aligned this to the sill and installed it not quite horizontal. It looks completely flat (an optical illusion) and no light is visible under my door. The color matches my new oiled bronze door hardware perfectly and keeps bugs and drafts out. I had to cut it, but the trim chipped so little that no one will notice until they go and inspect it. I fixed a situation that has been bothering me for years, so I'm happy. The product is exactly as described and does what it is supposed to do - perfect!
