After trying "horse products" for terrible matted mane, I bought this. It helped loosen the matted hair so I could pick it out. I live in the desert so I cannot criticize how good it moisturized yet. Human hair usually isn't as course textured so it is probably perfect. Wish this product was available in the 80's when I had long hair! LOL!
