I used to fill four 5 gallon bottles at my local pure water store and it always takes a long time, especially when there's a line. Installing a reverse osmosis system at home has paid off. Now I have clean fresh water at home. City water is rough and has a taste. I have a TDS meter that measures total dissolved solids in water. City water showed 220 td, and after passing through this filter - 9 td. It's a big difference and there is no more aftertaste. I installed it myself with some help from my wife. It took about 30 minutes to assemble the system myself and connect the required hoses. The tubes are colour-coded, which makes connection much easier. The three large filter chambers are not labeled, so you have to look at the filter labels. Keep an eye on this as the label is on the packaging plastic which you should remove. The other 4 smaller filters are already there, so that's good. The longest part of the assembly ended up in the back of my sink. My sink is a little away from the wall and has a tight space to work in. And my sink faces outside, so I drilled a hole in the wall and piped the water outside. That way I don't waste water and use them for gardening. Be sure to turn on the water for 30 minutes to an hour to flush the system. Overall I am very happy with the end result. I no longer have to lug around heavy water bottles.
