Great if you want a plain phone

I understand this phone is quite old now and obviously not available here at the moment. But if it's ever available, or you can find it elsewhere, it's a really good little phone as long as you don't need a lot of fancy features. I don't always hear well when I'm on the phone, especially with cordless phones. I tried a few before coming across this one and it was the first one I could hear well on. And that's the most important feature for me. It works pretty well anywhere in the house, except for the fact that one room a few corners from the base has a bit of static electricity. I can take it outside although it can lose it after about 50 feet outside although it works fine in a garage. But being able to hear well myself wouldn't be worth it if it was uncomfortable and bulky, but it's fairly easy to hold and comfortable on my face, and I don't accidentally clip it to my cheek. You have to be careful with the buttons, even with small hands, but that's probably the case with any phone of this kind. The base is good and quite compact. As for the battery - I bought mine at church for $3 so it's dead and the battery is having trouble right now. I used to leave it without a base for a few days with no problems. Now the battery dies in 10 minutes so I have to get a new one. But I don't know how old I was when I got it - probably a few years at least. So whoever said their phone broke after 3 months - either you got a used phone and they didn't tell you, or it was an accident.

Pros
  • Hearing aid compatible
Cons
  • Slightly dented
