I have used this brand for partial teeth many times. I've never had a problem, but I've never tried one that contained fresh mint. When I bought it, it obviously didn't hold up as well as the rest of this line of products that I've used. I don't know if it was an accident or if it has something to do with the aroma. In any case, it's not the same as the others in this line
