Time will tell, this speaker lives up to all the claims the company is touting. I've spent over a hundred bucks on Target and the like and bought Bluetooth speakers that are not only short-lived but very poor quality. Target's battery life will only last about an hour. Not sure where the wife got it from, the battery connector fell into the speaker after daily use. Both speakers lasted less than 6 months. At the moment, not only does the Jamkik have great volume, but the battery lasts over 5 hours if I use it while driving. I would recommend this speaker. Also, it has a product warranty that none of the others have or have had.
