Review on 🔌 Baseus 8 in 1 USB C Hub: 4K HDMI, USB 3.0, TF/SD Reader, Ethernet, Power Delivery - MacBook Pro, Surface Pro, iPad Pro Compatible by Terry Reed

I used it with my new 12.9" iPad Pro. It has a Thunderbolt port and I wanted to output video and add an optional external USB SSD drive. I connected the device to a 24" monitor connected and it immediately cast the video to the monitor. I could see the Kindle book and tablet screen on the monitor but not in full size. Then I streamed the movie from the tablet to the monitor , and it was displayed on a high-resolution widescreen. I couldn't see the external SSD drive on the tablet. After several attempts, I still couldn't view it. I formatted the drive so that it can be recognized by the iPad, and installed the Files app to see the drive but it didn't work. I'm pretty sure it was a problem with the iPad and not this external hub. I have the hub on ei I hooked it up to a DELL laptop with a Thunderbolt 4 port and it worked fine. This includes the ability to see and use an external SSD. I didn't need to install any drivers on my laptop. I like this device and it works well with my laptop. I would buy it for this purpose as it greatly increases the versatility of the computer by adding ports. It was only partially effective for connecting to an iPad, but that wasn't the problem with this dock. I liked that the docking station has an integrated connection cable which makes packing and traveling easier.
