We've had this iPad in other cases - Otterbox anyway. All of them broke after numerous accidental falls. (Small children, etc.) This case is very similar to the childproof case that Revain ships with their Fire tablets, which we love. So we tried it and were very satisfied. Easy installation, built-in legs, carrying handle and very good damping of the device. It's not a "pretty" case, but I don't think it's relevant to this use case. The cutouts for power/volume buttons, lightning/headphone jacks, speaker and microphone are well thought out and very accessible. I like that these cutouts expose the built-in buttons instead of covering them up with molded button covers, which always feel sloppy and rarely work over time. Another big plus of this case is that it is very easy to remove (5 seconds) so you can regularly wipe your iPad with a disinfectant wipe and wash the case with soap and water. It's a huge win over traditional Otterbox-style cases that take serious effort to remove and reinstall, and result in a nasty mess when you finally open them. Overall great value and very easy.
