I've spent hours and hours researching toothpaste and thought I'd finally found the most useful product for cleaning my teeth. Brushing your teeth with mud was absolutely disgusting. Tried for a week, couldn't take it anymore. My teeth got dirtier even after gargling. Spitting up dirt and saliva while brushing your teeth is an uncomfortable experience. I've tested a number of different toothpastes and while not 100% rated by the EWG, I've found David's Premium Natural Toothpaste to be my favorite. I only recommend buying this product if you like tasting dirt.
