I bought this router specifically to load OpenWRT on it, but Ubiquiti added code to its firmware to block 3rd party firmware like OpenWRT. It steals consumer choice. I don't like companies that do business this way. As for the stock firmware, Ubiquiti fixes vulnerabilities quickly and offers some pretty advanced features, but it's still not enough to meet my needs (port mirroring, VPN client, etc.).
