I know I need to exercise, so I decided to run. I have "difficult" feet for shoes, they are quite wide and I have a high arch. I've tried Grasshopper, Keds, Dr Scholl's, Easy Spirit, Sperry's, Earth Shoes, Clarks, Aerosoles trying to find the perfect shoe for me. While all others were tolerable, my feet always ended up getting a little sore at the end of the day after wearing all the other brands. Some brands put pressure on the balls of my feet, others are too tight and pinch on my toes, some chafe on my heel. Nothing special, but nothing really comfortable, just bearable. I figured I'd just have to put up with chronically tired legs. Until I tried on a pair of Skechers. I swear, as soon as I put my foot in my Skechers, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, a little forest of creatures came out of their hiding places to frolic, and a beautiful flock of birds gently laid a halo of flowers on my head. Somewhere in the distance a choir of angels sang. I was too busy crying with joy to pay attention to where. Shoes. Are. Heaven. The Skechers gang are apparently in cahoots with the angels because they have some sort of agreement with the angels that nobody's feet touch the ground when they're wearing them. I walk no more, I am carried down the footpath on a cloud of sheer comfort by adorable little angels hired by Skechers. You can't see them of course but my legs know they're there, oh yes they are. I casually wave to passers-by as I float past them. I stop random strangers on the sidewalk to tell them how comfy these Skechers are and how adorable the angels are carrying me and my lucky feet down the sidewalk. These shoes are as light as a cloud carried by sweet putti. I have bought four more pairs (in different colors) and will be taking them with me on my upcoming trip. They weigh next to nothing and I really hate taking them off at the end of the day. There is NO break-in period, they are ready to use straight away. They gently hug my heels, caress the balls of my feet and kiss my toes. I've always loved my daily walk, but now I LOVE my daily walk. My feet are like two little puppies now, greedily breathing at the door to hurry up and let's go GO Can you say I love these shoes?
