I bought these at the last moment for a trip to Iceland. I have traveled there before but a huge polar dip was coming in making it colder than I'd ever traveled in.The pants fit PERFECTLY. They were so comfortable and had some elastic in the waistband for those holiday meals :) We ended up wearing these every day for a week with a wool underlay because the weather got insane- and we would have been in big trouble without them. We never got too hot in them, and the zip pockets were so helpful for keeping ID and a Visa card in bc it was so cold-we didn't have to root around in our bags. We had hail, snow, blizzard, winds of 35-70 mph and the pants kept us totally solid. One of the best investments I've ever made for a clothing item!
