I would not recommend the best in pivoting calipers and dividers
They were filled with oil but I could barely open them. I ended up cutting my thumb trying to open them. Also, they don't have wing nuts to loosen and tighten, so it doesn't get any better. And I'm sure there's nothing you can do to tighten them if they loosen too much.
