I really liked the idea of making my French Press easier to clean and a friend recommended it. However, I found that they brightened the flavor of my coffee significantly every time. Even if I added more beans and steeped longer, the body would be too light. Same process, same beans, same ground coffee, same temperature of water, WITHOUT the bag, makes a wonderful full-bodied drink. These should be sachets containing oils and finer powders. However, when used as very large tea bags, pouring in loose tea works well for a large pot, with less noticeable change in the infuser body. I've also successfully used them for bath tea by filling them with salts, oats, herbs etc and soaking them in the tub. These are well made little bags but I strongly advise against using them for their advertised purposes.
