My daughter loves them and I like the way they look. We try not to do things that are too girly, so that's perfect. It's a beautiful lilac purple color with subtle sequins woven into the fabric. They wash really well while air drying. They wash perfectly without the use of detergent and stain remover needed for white shoes. After a while, the Velcro wears out and the shoes fall off. Nevertheless, we ordered them a size larger because I really like them. You might just want to have a spare pair of shoes, which is probably a good thing anyway if a kid throws up on them in kindergarten (actually, it happened between two of these photos - they wash really well!).
