Review on πŸ‘£ Optimized Series Footplate & PIN by Jim Kriegshauser

A solid leg to lean on!

trailer jack footplate not much to say. This is probably one of the easiest parts to install on a trailer. This footboard was cheaper than all the others, although I really wanted one of the round versions, which are more expensive. I am almost certain that they are all made in the same factory in CHINA. This is necessary so that your trailer does not sink into the ground or asphalt on hot days. In addition, the footrest helps to move the trailer a little if necessary. I installed mine on a new 2021 Caravan cargo trailer using an A frame jack. The jack is exactly 2 inches. This stand is perfect with little slack and is made from 1/8" gauge steel, solidly seam welded and zinc plated. It will likely outlast your trailer jack. Additionally, the footrest comes with a quick release pin. As the saying goes, "take" "You start shooting every time you pull a trailer, but no one will. So I used a 3/8" x 3" long stainless bolt and nylon locknut from a local hardware store. It protects it good, keeps it from being stolen and keeps the included stylus from rattling when you fly down the street.I'm happy with my purchase.
