Works great in my converted van

I converted my Chrysler Town and Country Tour to a van with about 2.5kW DC power. I had to solve my sleeping problem. At night when it's cold, I needed a way to keep warm without using solar energy. I also had to connect water, electricity and other things. I tried my sleeping bag but it was too uncomfortable. I felt too restricted, I was cold to go back to the bathroom and go to the toilet. I found this electric blanket. It's really soft, but I use it underneath (read on). It uses low voltage which means I can work all night and not drain my solar panels. Since it can get very hot, I put a blanket under several layers of blankets and lie on top; other duvets warm up and stay warm longer. I would lie on top, cover myself with another blanket, the heat is rising and I stay warm at night.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues
