Review on Galaxy3 RIMABLE 22 Complete Skateboard: A Stellar Riding Experience by Tim Pulse

I'm not an avid skater but a regular adult Joe who weighs 145 pounds and loves to skateboard. Before I got this penny skateboard I had a traditional "trick" skateboard to get me around, but I hated carrying it around because of its size and I'm not a fan of the loud rolling noise hard wheels make. It sounds uncomfortable to me and I don't want to attract attention while driving. I actually bought three Penny style skateboards at different prices (The Original Penny Board for $68, Rimable for $29.99 and High Bounce for $39.99) and settled on the Rimable. because of its quality and price. Here's my take on each of them. - Original Penny Board I'll be honest, this board had the smoothest and longest ride of the three boards. Riding it was like riding a wave of butter smeared onto a stack of fresh, hot pancakes. Yes it was so awesome, but on a college budget it was hard to justify spending close to $70 on a board I used occasionally, especially when the Rimable board took second place in the Best Ride category, and I'll get to that next. Secondly. - High rebound Since this is $10 more expensive than the Rimable, I thought its performance would be a no-brainer, but I realized that a $10 difference doesn't guarantee a difference in quality. The reason I didn't go with it was because it was too flexible under my weight. Just standing on it I could feel it flexing under my weight and while I wasn't worried it would break, I was more worried it would affect my ride. The ride on the Rimable and High Bounce was tight, but it doesn't matter if you weigh as much or more than me and if the board sags underneath you. Not too expensive, not bad quality. The board held my weight just as well as the original penny board and was just a little less smooth, but I forgot about that when I returned the penny board. At a low price, it also felt like a steal. If you don't need the original at all, you can't go wrong with Rimable. UPDATE: 05/14/2106. After more than 5 months of owning this board I love everything about it and am upgrading my rating to 5 stars. The main reason I kept my previous rating at 4 stars was because it doesn't slide as much compared to the original Penny board, but over the weeks the slide has become less of a concern for me, especially as I use it more for outdoor used travel. Man what have I been through with this board. I've had more than enough trips, spills and crashes and in the end my board is as reliable as when I bought it. Over time, due to my clumsiness, some scratches appeared, but they did not affect the rigidity of the board. Metal wheels and "things" (shows how amateur I am) still work fine. The metal has no rust being aluminum and the rubber wheels get dirty if you ride them outside (just a note). Note: Due to its short length, its stability becomes more difficult to control when driving very fast, e.g. B. when driving down steep hills. I might have had to jump out a few times (while screaming in fear) going down a really steep hill. So if you're an amateur like me, be careful.
