Superman is very funny and he is definitely our favorite. However, I honestly think he's too strong to break the game. Basically, you can use it to bypass a lot of puzzles, and here's why. First, he can fly (and you'll hear Superman's amazing music every time!) and bypass many Switch keystones (he can also swim). Second, he's immune to most damage! You don't have to worry about fire traps or spike traps, eliminating the need for an elemental capstone many times over. You don't have to worry about people shooting at you or anything. Third, he just touches things and they break. You literally just step on any object and only coins fall, just like using a vehicle; the same applies to colour-changing knob stones. He can also swim, has laser vision (melts gold and ice), ice breath to freeze someone, break cracked walls, and see through green walls. He can do little! The vehicle he arrives in is fine, nothing out of the ordinary, but you do indeed have a superman who needs a flying machine. The only minor issue is that it can easily get stuck while flying and it can be difficult to land as it is difficult to know exactly what surface it is over. Not to mention that it flies pretty fast, so setting up a landing zone is difficult. He's oversimplifying the game but he's Superman, I mean of course he's going to be great.
