I use it with a 220v electric fan blowing through it to cool the air coming out of my air compressor pump (3, 9 hp, max 0.125psi). After about an hour of continuous operation, the temperature drops from 172°F at the compressor head to 70°F at the tank inlet. Almost all moisture is condensed and separated by the Norgen air/water separator. After painting the whole car, I emptied my tank and maybe a tablespoon of water came out. Without the cooler and air/water separator, there would be many cups of condensed water. Be careful with fittings. Use a wrench on the side of the radiator while tightening to avoid damaging the radiator. I damaged my first one replacing the compressor pump, but that was obviously my fault and not an oil cooler issue.
