Review on 27" Monitor Philips 271E1SCA, 1920x1080, 76Hz, *VA, black by Wiktor Janeczek ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

The monitor was chosen and bought by a girl based on her budget and needs, she used to have my monitor, so all the shortcomings were described in comparison with my monitor. At the first start, I was greeted by a blurred picture, but I managed to fix this by adding clarity on the monitor, so I didn’t write it down as a flaw, but the color rendition! Surfing the Internet, viewing photos, watching movies, everything seems to be in a white veil, I have never seen anything like this, at my work, I specially checked it, there are 6 different models of monitors from 4 manufacturers and there is no such effect, by the way, the monitor is connected via HDMI. But the sound was disappointing, on my monitor at 50% volume the sound is louder, deeper and there is bass. In general, we will most likely return it .

Pros
  • Curved screen looks good.
Cons
  • 1. Color reproduction, it's terrible, it feels like a white film is pasted on it, all colors are whitish, black seems to be gray . neither setting up the monitor, nor installing drivers on the monitor with special software from Philips helped. At my work, the most budget monitor transmits colors much better! 2. The sound from the speakers is very mediocre . on my other monitor you can listen to music and watch a movie and play toys, it’s not comfortable on this one, there are 2 tweeters for 3 kopecks . (additional speakers are not an option, only a keyboard monitor and mouse on the table 3. It's clear that for such a price it's normal, but still, there is a certain feeling of cheapness, quality of materials, buttons, even the software does not look pretentious)) but this is already nit-picking compared to my other monitor. You can not pay attention to this drawback at this price.
