Review on RED WOLF 2000-2021 GM Chevy GMC Buick Cadillac Backup Camera + CB Radio + Radar Detectors + Portable GPS Power Adapter by John Sharma

I used this adapter in my Silverado gear to provide a 12V DC switched power source for use by the dash cam. I installed a dash cam but didn't want any exposed wires or cables. Also, I didn't want to cut/splice the OEM wires unless absolutely necessary. This seat belt adapter was the perfect answer to what I needed. I installed the DVR on the windshield just behind the rearview mirror. I then routed the supplied USB cable over the headliner and the A-pillar on the passenger side behind the upholstery. I pressure attached it to the dash and centered it under the center stereo console. I bought a pre-wired cigarette lighter. I attached it to this belt. I plugged the peer-to-peer cigarette lighter/USB adapter (that came with the dash cam) into an outlet and then bolted everything to the dash for a perfectly clean install that didn't require constant modifications to the truck. I highly recommend this adapter.
