I was a bit skeptical when I got these LED headlights but I have to say they are just as bright as my other BMWs with factory LED headlights. You have the option to remove the ring and adjust the mounting angle based on your car's reflector. That's not how you blind people. The fan is more compact than other brands I've used and is quiet. Some H7 applications require other adapters to be properly installed. There is an installation guide that describes this as well as the options they offer. Overall, I would buy again for my cars and also for my customers' cars.
