Wow this is way better than I expected for the price

I'm a music lover but to be honest I just wanted sound with my headphones connected to my Samsung S20 Ultra. I hate that I finally had to get a phone without an audio jack. When I want to listen to music on the go, I usually just use a personal DAP (AK120 or AK320). Battle. I go to the gym more often and prefer my phone to watch podcasts and other stuff while running on the treadmill. Thus, the quality requirements for this purchase are not very high. I connected this little device to my phone, put on my Campfire Audio Vega headphones, fired up Toys in the Attic FLAC 96/24 and that was it. I was kinda confused. Very good dynamics for such a cheap device. I think this is more than enough for 95% of people. Also, the volume levels are pretty high, around 80% volume, I wouldn't want to go above that. Vega also needs some juice to sound good. It's very likely that most other IEMs will have the same volume of around 60% compared to the Vega's 80%. I considered going for expensive USB-C DACs, but only for the purpose of using them for training while watching podcasts. , and maybe some music while running, I'm glad I didn't shell out $150-300. If I want to hear something with a critical ear, I have better stuff for it. This saves space, reduces weight and is extremely convenient. The unexpected level of quality is an added bonus. Highly recommended!
