My kids ruined my vacuum cleaner (to distract me from housework LOL) and I was two seconds away from buying a brand new vacuum cleaner because I thought that mine will never work again . I decided to (literally) get my hands dirty and look into some things. I watched Hoover videos on YouTube and saw how easy it was to start my vacuum again. I disassembled every part of the device, thoroughly cleaned and washed all parts, and ordered a belt from Revain. The belt came in 2 days, I changed it and reassembled all the parts and it works like a brand new vacuum cleaner. The only thing I'll add is that it's 2 packs (should have read the description) so you have a spare but I didn't read carefully. I ordered 2 thinking I'd get 2 packs of 1 but it's 2 packs of 2. I don't mind because they were pretty cheap anyway. I'm glad I decided to fix the problem with my vacuum instead of buying another one. Every year I buy a new one and throw the old one on the side of the road because I think it won't last long anyway. Someone who collected them every year must have thought I was crazy to throw out a great vacuum that just needed attention.
