Design looks good. I have worn them and received many compliments. The wooden frame looks like painted plastic. My main complaint is that the inside of the lenses reflects everything back into your eyes! When the sun (or other bright light) is next to or behind you, it reflects off your face. As I walked into the office this morning, I instinctively shuddered as someone 20 feet behind me opened the lobby's glass door, letting in sunlight and reflecting it in my direction. Since the light was coming from behind, it hit the back of the lens and bounced back into my eyes from the side. It seemed to me like something massive was moving toward me with peripheral vision. It was funny but that was the final straw to say I won't be wearing them again. Over the past few days of wearing them, I've kept ignoring the movement of the corners of my eyes or the edges of the glasses, telling myself that it takes some getting used to, but is dangerous on the road. I don't know how many times I thought the car was moving around my periphery and it was really just a reflection aimed at me from an object behind me. The edges of your field of vision also shimmer in a beautiful bluish-green, purple depending on the time of day. It's beautiful, but it really distorts the picture of the world and gives the impression that you're walking on the set of a fantasy or horror movie with a weird filter on the camera lens. Again, they look good, but they're not that functional to me. They are an accessory, not a functional part of the glasses. I live in Phoenix, Arizona where the summer sun is pretty intense.
