Review on 🎥 Transcend DrivePro 1080P Camera Camcorder: Capturing Clear & Crisp Moments on the Road by Michael Hogate

UPDATE: While the device is still fantastic there are some bugs in the software and the battery barely lasts 6 hours on a single charge. I deduct three stars for that. They should be enough for at least a full eight-hour shift. So, there is a little background I want to share after reviewing the Drivepro Body 30 that our agency used (Body 10). After receiving it, I set up the camera with the Windows software, downloaded the app to my iPhone and started the analysis. This body worn camera is AWESOME. It literally kicks the doors out of the Taser Axon and is a major upgrade from what we currently have, the Drivepro Body 10. The construction feels more solid, the U/I interface is improved, the pre-event buffering is flawless AND it includes audio buffering which is HUGE! The video and audio quality is exceptional and the night vision is impeccable, although when there are light-dark-light-dark cases, the toggling between night vision and non-night vision stops believing it would be better. A solid block that is greatly underrated for its features and build quality. Data management is non-proprietary and saves thousands of dollars per month depending on the size of the department or agency. I will be writing a recommendation for our agency to start purchasing Body 30 blocks as an upgrade to Body 10 pending a field evaluation of this block. which I'm sure will be trouble-free. Now the history. About 2 years ago I started looking for a way to save my admittedly smaller agency some of the cost of body cams. In short, I've put together a "short list" of body cams I've never heard of and researched them as best I can. I contacted the university police who used the Drivpro Body 10 exclusively. Speaking of which, I bought one to evaluate. It was everything I hoped it would be, and from a law enforcement perspective; it was pretty solid. Data management was non-proprietary, so we were able to save even more money, which was a big plus. They have been working flawlessly with our employees for at least two years, without any problems or complaints. The Body 30 is an excellent replacement and I'm sure it will be a great upgrade for us.
