I don't understand the big fuss about page sizes. No, you cannot use the 8x10 photo on the attached pages, but protective sheets can be used instead. How loose are the rivets? I don't know but has anyone heard of Velcro? The album costs 13 dollars. What does anyone expect? I didn't want to spend money on a leather bound volume that I don't need. I have family heritage photos, newspaper articles, telegrams and Civil War memorabilia that I am collecting in an album to pass on to the next generation, and this album is perfect for me. For those interested, the actual page width is 8-1/8. "Length 10-1/4". The area covered with sticks and cellophane is 7-7-1/8 inches and the entire length is also sticky and covered. I was also able to fit a large number of hard vintage photograph protective sheets into the album. I just ordered two more. The protective films also protrude beyond the album cover when closed, but are limited when open.
