Review on 🎨 Unpainted Wooden Nesting Doll Set by Koogel - Handcrafted Matryoshka Collection by John Faxon

I really wanted to love them because we have a set of 5 figures that we color as my baby's minions and he loves them. They were supposed to be for the Masha and the Bear set and I liked that the set had 6 instead of 5 so it takes him longer to get to what he calls the "baby" in the middle. I have to say before I get to the cons of the product, the quality in relation to the thickness of the wood is amazing! Would definitely be perfect for a toddler if they were properly sanded inside. Now for the cons. When they arrived I opened them to see them and I couldn't open the first one in my life! With a lot of brute force we were finally able to open the big one, but there were problems with the next two. Only two of them opened easily. The big one also had such a deep drill hole inside that it almost reached the other side. And the second, the largest, had a spot that was rough and needed filling (see pic) and a very dark streak (see pic) that showed through the white. After paying a higher amount just to get 1 more figure I was hoping for better quality.
