This replacement cable works just like the original. But it feels a lot cheaper. This is clearly insane due to the cheaper materials. The part that goes into the docking station is made of plastic and metal on the original cable. Also, the cable is thinner and the connector feels more fragile. However, it works like a dream! So for the money this is a great replacement cable if your OEM cable breaks.
