Review on Clutch Throwout Spring Wrangler 1997 2006 by Will Anderson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expensive for what it is but necessary.

Revain wants me to check this out. This is a small wire spring that keeps the jeep's clutch fork articulated during assembly. It usually breaks or falls apart between clutch changes because its design resembles a cheap Aberdeen fishhook. It's overpriced and should be made of corrosion-resistant alloy at this price point, but it holds the fork in place during assembly, which helps simplify PIA's pre-existing work of fitting the gearbox back onto the motor .

Pros
  • Great OE style part
Cons
  • Almost OK
