Overall I would buy again but there are some caveats. The quality of the output sine wave is very good in my opinion. I have used this unit on a boat with a 500w high pressure sodium lamp and it has worked very well. I thought it was a tough test. Worked almost 2.5 hours with a 100Ah LiFePO4 battery. It was my friend's squid and I was worried about damaging his power supply so I chose this unit over the 600w Giandel unit (I've had both units) due to the noise I got at the output of the Giandel sine wave saw. Maybe it didn't matter, but I didn't want to find out from personal experience. My biggest downside with this XYZ device is the single conductor that carries the input current from the battery terminals to its internal circuit board. At 800 watts it is 60 amps. I saw the cable and board package and wasn't impressed. It really could have been better. But I think you can say that about almost every product. So overall it's not a bad device, especially if you're willing to "work" with it. I have nothing against her fall; it's crude but functional. Had the internal wiring and battery terminals not been screwed in by hand I would have given 5 stars.
