Common sense isn't that common I guess. Some products make me cringe at the asshole behind their design. This is definitely one of those products. Although it is a useful product. Idiocy in design prevents this from being a good/great product: 1. Edges must be beveled! Yes! Instead, it is designed with a 90 degree edge. Sharp and may hurt if you hit it on the bed, or if you don't keep your wrist fully on the pad, it will be very uncomfortable.2. A recessed insert for a tablet or phone is in such an unfortunate place. A) Allow the insert to cover the entire width of the board, or B) Move the bet further to the right and over the mouse pad. This way, you can see your phone's screen when using your laptop. Instead, the design only allows you to put your phone/desk behind your laptop and appears to block your phone. So much for multitasking.
