Purchased with an extra large Lifetime box for our pool accessories. It fits perfectly in the box and has an elastic bottom with short ties on both sides. I put the crate together yesterday and it rained really hard this morning so I was glad we got this to keep the rain out of the crate. The box is plastic, I don't really like the look of it, but we needed a functional cheap box. In my opinion the cover makes the box better. It hides the plastic so it's a win-win, you protect the box and make it look good. I will update the durability rating over time. The pool is on the south side of the house and sees the sun all day. Anything and everything bakes and fades or wears out. For $30 I'm willing to keep buying a lid to keep the box from warping, drying in the sun, and falling apart. We'll see, but I hope it lasts a while and protects the box well. I have just written a review on the box and I highly recommend purchasing the box along with the purchase of this case.
