I bought this for my friend who is currently bedridden and works in bed. She liked this table because it had a tilt function, which came in handy when she was working on her laptop, but could be converted into a flat table for dining and the like. The problem is that everything that can be adjusted on this table is done by manually loosening the knobs, adjusting to a new position, and then retightening (as opposed to a hydraulic lever to raise and lower), which can be difficult by a human with mobility. and/or gripping problems. In addition, the inclined section and the flat section do not coincide when they are both horizontal. When assembling some parts were plastic and when tightening I was afraid they might break. After a few days of use, my girlfriend said it's not very stable and she can't use it to support herself when getting out of bed. I ended up buying her another bedside table with more finish and stronger metal parts. We moved it to an extra table that basically just keeps all of their meds. Recommendation: If you intend to ONLY use it for light laptop use in bed, it will do. If you want more versatility and a larger, easily adjustable and stable table, you can spend a little more money on a better table.
