This is a great Macintosh product: absolutely perfect plug and play! You take it out of the box, connect it via Ethernet and you're done. Unless you're a total beginner, RTFM isn't necessary, although for a Mac user the entire guide is a few images. Even for a Mac user, this is a pretty good example of industrial design. It is ideal for use with the Apple AirPort SOHO/home network system. Also, for a Windows user (trying to become one) the packaging shows a Windows flag over the words "Designed for Microsoft Windows". and includes the necessary cables as well as a manual CD to complement the illustrated manual and a selection of drivers, more of which are available on the Linksys website. Linksys also sells the necessary internal plumbing if your PC doesn't already have one. For the price, this modem is an absolute steal.
