I think you should all know this but make sure your bead fits the screw holes and use a tube of silicone on the top of the gasket and one on the bottom of the gasket. I thought you only needed a continuous bead on one side and you just lost 8 liters of rolling stock 1. I know right? Try to get the best caulk because it dries and hardens within a day. FYI because it won't tell you. I usually just use a seal maker (RTV for Mercedes) next to the pipe, but oh my god I had to rip it off hard. Thank goodness the Mercedes oil pan has a latch that's easy to pry off. And finally if you can make sure your car is idling for about 10 minutes before trying to take your old one off. Believe me, you will appreciate this wisdom. Other than that, he got here on time and in great shape, just no direction. I like directions just to be sure.
