I'd say this case is perfect except for one small blemish - and in cases like this it's semi-universal - the battery compartment. Why does it have to be slightly larger than the 9 volt battery itself? Especially since you plug in the included battery connector, which although thick, feels brittle to the touch, so if you wrap the wires as tightly as you need to, it looks like it's about to snap (although that didn't happen with the 2 versions). ). I used it for months or so. I ended up using my Dremel tool to cut out a whole bunch of the inside of this case. Other than that, this case looks fantastic. Nice soft-touch sides, good fit and finish, and it's big enough (with a bit of trimming as I mentioned) to hold my homemade Homelink remote. It will contain the entire Homelink module ripped from the latest Chrysler model which you can buy cheap on eBay. For a total of about $27, I was able to complete my project thanks to this case.
