I bought this Ozmo Pro mop head hoping for an upgrade. I think the first 2 starts worked fine, but then it started turning off and on randomly. This is an oscillating function that shows up in the app as 'cleaning' as opposed to the function that comes with the robot that 'mops the floor'. I contacted ecovac chat support through their app. The 2 times I contacted Ecovac support were unsuccessful (via their live chat support). I have an ozma t8 aivi. They couldn't help me determine what a particular icon in the app was for. I declined to ask, although I was curious as to what it was. Then they escalated it and I obviously took screenshots and it was useless. Regarding the specific issue I raised with the pro app, I also spent over an hour chatting with this person. She wanted to take me to the next level again. She ended up emailing me a video of the malfunction when it stopped vibrating like it should. They said the video was never broadcast. I cropped it and reduced the resolution by 5x and finally sent it. Several days have passed and I have not received an answer. I'm not sure if it was a defect or something else, but I decided to use Amazon's return and play it safe while I wait for the support team's response. It shouldn't cycle on and off during cleaning, especially since we ONLY have hardwoods and tile. There is no carpet here to confuse the robot. It's a lot louder than just using the supplied mop (I agree and expected this after reading the reviews). I only noticed that he stopped the oscillating vibration because he suddenly kept moving quietly. I approached and noticed that he wasn't moving properly. I've tried restarting it, turning it off and putting it back on the charging dock. It just works, it goes as it wants. The last time I used it, the attachment never worked. It's useless and I figured I should just go back to the drag and drop that came with the original. Upgrade drawn in the same way.
