I thought it was my problem...
I thought it was my problem. Didn't think it put out the right voltage. It turns out my fireplace has a lot of safety devices. One of them is a gas analyzer. It's at the top where the vent opens to open to light. I took it off and it's stuck open. Inserted the pin, it closed and the fireplace lit after I turned it on. Make sure you check the thing (I had a lower voltage than this so I replaced it... Just to have the same voltage). Check the canopy vent switch to make sure it closes when the stock opens. Check safety smoke shutdown. Then start digging through the wires if they are ok.
