The dimensions are not given by the diagonal of the screen (as is usual with screens and laptops), but by the width. So if you have a 15.6 inch laptop, choose a 13.3 inch case. This laptop bag is huge. I ordered the 15.6" and it has so much extra space that it looks like a 17" laptop will fit in it. This is not what I was looking for and I will return it. I should have looked at the dimensions and realized that the 15.9-inch width would have been too much for a 15.6-inch laptop. In addition to the size, it had frayed seams out of the box.
