Just posting my experience in case it helps someone: I've had a Sabrent dual port dock for about 2-3 years and it worked pretty well, the only problem with her was that from time to time it randomly turned off, about every few weeks. Towards the end of its life it started doing this more often, sometimes even once a day, so I replaced it with an Orico dual port dock. The Orico worked great for about a year and a half and then suddenly died a few weeks ago, just wouldn't turn on anymore ($30 for a year and a half - no big deal), but the main thing is that the Orico has been the whole time in which I owned it, NEVER accidentally turned it off, which was a breath of fresh air after getting used to the Sabrent's frequent failures. I decided to replace my Orico with this four port Sabrent and for the past two weeks it has been even worse than my original Sabrent - random disconnects multiple times a day, sometimes within five minutes of turning it on. So a few days ago I bought an Orico with three ports, which I have been using intensively for the last two days without a single break. We'll see if that holds up, but it's already a lot better than the Sabrent. YMMV, there are many factors that affect my computer (Surface Pro 5), the USB hub I connect the dock to, the drives I connect to. This (I buy cheap hard drives) but I've had two Sabrents and two Oricos in the last five years and am staying away from Sabrents for now.
