I've worn these gloves all winter using a snow blower and shoveling snow. This is the first pair of gloves that have held up beautifully all winter without tearing. They are quite durable as they are made of artificial materials. Warm and long, go well into the cuffs of the coat. In very cold weather they are very warm, but not as warm as mittens. This was to be expected. Mittens are always warmer than gloves, but mittens are bulky and cannot be worn in many outdoor activities. I bought large gloves and the size was exactly what I expected.
