I've been using an old fryer that finally stopped working after many years, and I got this one to try as a replacement. After using it a few times, I will say it's very good overall.Details below.CONTROLSThe controls are very simple to use, with easy-to-read temperature settings. The lights indicating the power and heat level are bright and in the best spot for visibility.COOKINGUsing this is quite simple if you know about fryers in general. Just lower the basket into the hot oil, and the process is simple and intuitive. The handle on the basket is easy to grip for lifting or lowering. The bar to hook the fryer up out of the oil is placed perfectly.SIZEThe one negative of this fryer is the basket size. The tank is a few inches longer than the basket, so it almost appears as if the basket was meant for a smaller fryer. Because of this, there is some wasted opportunity when frying.CLEANINGThe stainless steel surfaces are smooth with very few seams for dirt to collect, and it's quick to wipe the fryer down after use. The stainless-steel tank comes out and can be put in the dishwasher or scrubbed by hand.CONCLUSIONThis is a simple but effective fryer. It works great. Be aware of the smallish basket. I recommend it.
