In the beginning the packaging was terrible. Black ink is everywhere. OK, that happens sometimes. Then none of the cartridges are recognized by the printer. Uninstall and reinstall them according to their instructions. Still does not work. Reboot the printer. Still not recognized. That's what I get when I buy a cheap printer and try to save on ink. If you get it and it works for you, congratulations. I've never had a full set of third-party multi-color cartridges fail instantly. Just to make sure it wasn't my printer, I put in old Epson ink cartridges and they were recognized just fine.
